COSL Chemicals (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., was established in Sept. 1993, a joint venture supported by Bohai Company,China National Offshore Oil Corporation(BOC,CNOOC) and China Oilfield Services Limited(COSL), both of which administered by The China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC). In Sept. 2006, with shares acquired by COSL, it has become the wholly owned company of COSL, and high-tech enterprises including research and development, produce and sales.

Currently the company is located in the Yang Bei Road Bohai oil base,Tanggu District of Tianjin, it covers an area of 14,560 square meters, the registered capital is  9 million RMB. It has a number of advanced production lines of chemical products, producing oil professional chemicals with independent intellectual property such as mud chemicals, cementing chemicals and stimulating chemicals, as well as starch additives universal chemicals. The company also has independent import export authority. The highest organization of power is the board of directors, the company has a high quality management team, development team and sales team, the management scale is increasing at a speed of 50% yearly.

At present the products already covered drilling & completion, cementing and acidizing oil production in the area of oilfield chemicals additives nearly 40 species, which play an important role in oil field development. Many of them have obtained national patent.
